Data controller
Thomas Nilsen, company number 827858412, Skogsåsen 9B, 1412 Sofiemyr, Norway, is the data controller for personal data collected through Invity Studio.
For any privacy question, contact us at hello@invity.studio.
What data we process
About the couple: email address for sign-in and receipt, the couple's names, wedding date and time, venue and address, the photo you upload, and the choices you make in the designer.
About guests: the name the guest provides, whether they are attending, any allergies or dietary needs, a song request, and a free-text message to the couple.
Technical: we use a visitor's approximate country to suggest a language. We do not store IP addresses for this purpose.
Why we process it
The data is used solely to create, display and manage your invitation, and to collect guest replies at your request.
The legal basis is performance of the contract with you as a customer. For guest replies, the basis is the legitimate interest in running the event you invited them to.
We do not use the data for marketing, and we never sell it on.
How long we keep it
The invitation, the photo and the guest replies are stored for twelve months after the wedding day, then deleted.
If you would like deletion sooner, we will do so within 30 days of you contacting us.
Who we share it with
We use subprocessors for hosting, database, storage and email delivery. They process the data on our instructions under a data processing agreement.
Data may be stored within the EU/EEA or with providers covered by an approved transfer mechanism. We do not share data with anyone else.
Your rights
You have the right to access the data we hold about you, to have errors corrected, to have the data deleted, and to object to the processing.
Email hello@invity.studio and we will reply within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
